Story Notes
- Saul's Son, Jonathan, was David's best friend. He gave David his robe and weapons.
- God gave David success at everything he did. He won many battles.
- The women sang a song about how David had defeated more enemies than Saul.
- Saul became jealous of David. He thought he would take away his kingdom.
- As David played music, Saul threw a spear at David.
- David escaped from Saul's spear two times.
- Because God helped David win battle after battle, the people loved him.
- Saul was afraid of David. He thought of him as his enemy for the rest of his life.
Important Ideas
- The cure for jealousy is trust in God's good plan.
- God’s plans are unstoppable.
